Artist Statement
I had been interested in art when I was at school but had not taken it up after I left. I really only started when I went to an oil painting class. It felt right, as though I had been doing it all my life. However, the more painting I did the more I needed to learn. So, I gave up my business that I had been running for sixteen years, while bringing up my family, which allowed me the opportunity to spend more time learning doing what I loved. After going into hibernation for eight years here I am.
