Pamela Goodyer - Artist Showcase Feature

Artist Showcase - Goodyer - "South Brunswick Mill"Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine art photographer Pamela Goodyer is the gallery’s newest featured artist. She will now be featured and promoted by the gallery for the next 30 days.

Pam was born in Staten Island N.Y. and she moved to New Jersey at a very young age.  At South Brunswick High School Pam was very active in the art room and dark room. She focused most of her time on creating a portfolio to dazzle the art colleges. She was an honor roll student for 3 years of High School.  Pam was accepted at The School of Visual Arts as a full time student and then transferred her credits to Philadelphia Colleges of the Arts back in the 80’s.

Most people say they are passionate about photography. Pam will straight out tell you “I am an obsessive photographer”. When she is not working making money doing photography she is out doing her own personal landscape, wildlife and nature photography. She travels every chance she gets to some of the most spectacular places on the planet earth as she calls it.

Pam is very well known for her dynamic images with brilliant colors.  With a gift for perfect composition and the ability to find interesting subject matter she is able to create fascinating images that many call breath-taking.  She likes to photograph lying on the ground at open apertures to get depth of field and unusual perspectives.  “When everyone goes to the right, you will find me to over of the left.” Perspective and unique angles makes her work stand out above others.  She travels to many places that are highly photographed so she spends much of the time setting up her shots looking for an angle that no one else has ever achieved. “Hiking deep into the wilderness it is easy to get a unique shot but when you stand at Jordon Pond in Acadia National Park, you have to do something no one else is doing.”

Pam owns Extra Eyes Photo Tours and teaches her photography in many locations throughout the USA and Canada.  She also has photography classes running in local parks in N.J. and N.Y. from April to November on the weekends. Several photographers work for her teaching classes.  She will have you laughing through the class while she also gives you factual information and teaches you about your camera and also shares her secrets to creating award winning photography. She welcomes all levels on her tours throughout the USA and Canada.

Pam is single and keeping her eye open for that handsome obsessive photographer who wants to travel the world with her.  When she travels she photographs from sunrise to sunset. She always says only another photographer will put up with that.  She lives in Spotswood N.J. but plans to move to a location that is as rustic as she can get.

She travels to incredible places such as Acadia National Park, The Big 5 National Parks of Utah. She went to 7 National Parks in the Canadian Rockies last year. You can see a vast array of locations in her portfolio. Her goal is to hit all of the National Parks in the USA and document the incredible beauty of this earth.  She believes that the universe has given her this gift for that purpose and she plans to use it.  Pam’s website is http://extraeyesphototours.com
