Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Sheri Emerson has been named as the Gallery’s new featured artist and she will now be promoted by the gallery for the next 14 days in the gallery’s Artist Showcase.

Sheri Emerson is a Canadian and Arizona based photo artist.  Sheri hopes with her art she can draw attention to the absolute majesty and beauty of nature, and inspire people to do their part to help protect and conserve animals all over the world.  Sheri was selected as 1 of the top twelve finalists of the gallery’s recent Solo Art Exhibition Series #7. The placement in this competition qualified her art to be showcased in this feature. 

Sheri’s Artist Showcase feature will be promoted to over 550+ News Outlets, Premium News Outlets (ABC, CBS, CW, Fox & NBC TV & Radio Sites and inclusion on Google News & Bing News.  In addition, we will also be featuring and promoting her art in our various social media networks for further exposure.

Artist Biography:

Sheri Emerson has been a photographer her entire life, from a child snapping pictures with her 110 camera, to her first SLR, and finally into the digital world. She also has been an artist her entire life, winning her first art competition at the grand old age of five.

In the past few years, she has intensively studied both Photoshop and Lightroom to learn how to enhance her photography and turn it into digital art.

In the past year, she has been published in “Living the Photo Artistic Life” ten times, Readers Digest “Our Canada” magazine, “Photoshop Creative UK” magazine three times, and “Fine Eye Magazine” for fine art photography twice, received the “Best in Show” award for “All Weather of the Seasons” and the “Judges Choice” award for “All Animals” in Contemporary Art Gallery Online competitions, placed second in the SINWP “Creatures Great and Small” competition, and has been recognized for her work in ShiftArt.com challenges as well as winning numerous Facebook “Photo of the Day” challenges.

Sheri is also a two-time top ten overall winner in the Light, Space and Time competitions and has received several honorable mentions. Sheri splits her time between Arizona and Labrador, Canada, and is dedicating herself to pushing her photography and digital art even further.

Artist Statement:

Sheri is deeply concerned about the future of animals on this planet. Global climate change, pollution, game hunting, and humans pushing animals out of their natural habitats, just to name a few, are causing so many species to disappear.

She hopes with her art she can draw attention to the absolute majesty and beauty of nature, and inspire people to do their part to help protect and conserve animals all over the world. "We all need to do our part to be certain these magnificent creatures will continue to share the earth with us for many generations to come."
